ELIMINATING FOOD DESERTS IN CHICAGO

Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a big advocate for the eradication of food deserts in Chicago, announced today that Walgreens will add or expand food choices in 40 of its retail stores located in neighborhoods identified as food deserts. Source: Crain’s Chicago Business Midday Report
